Emma

Producer 

Emma is a freelance arts producer and manager. She currently works with Lost Dog dance, Bryony Kimmings, Anna Alvarez, Morvell Dance, Bodies in Action and No Sleep Dance. Most recently she has produced Lost Dog’s: Olivier nominated, Ruination (co-produced by the Royal Opera House), A Tale of Two Cities, Fireside as well as the international tour of the critically acclaimed Juliet & Romeo. As part of her work on Ruination, she delivered the Linbury Theatre’s first touch tour & audio described performance for Blind and Visually Impaired audiences. Additionally, a key part of her work is leading on the participation & outreach programmes of both Lost Dog Dance & Bryony Kimmings, managing 15 sell-out workshops between these organisations since 2021. She runs a peer working group for early & mid-career producers & managers in Sussex and is part of the Royal Opera House’s freelance working group, advising on best practice for the organisation. She’s previously worked with Hunt & Darton, Shaquille Brathwaite-Blaggrove, Orla Connolly, Tanztheatre Adrian Look, Vincent Dance Theatre, The Space inBetween, Betty Maguire, among others.

George Burton

George Burton is an aspiring dance artist and movement practitioner. Originally from Reading George began dancing at age of 16 with Zoielogic’s youth company, Fuzzylogic and OrbYouth dance company in Southampton. Pre- his vocational training he was able to perform at a variety of indoor and outdoor events with companies such as, Zoonation, BoyBlue, and Zoielogic. George went on to study at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in which he graduated with a First-Class degree in 2022. He currently is with the school’s postgraduate company VERVE looking forward to touring new works in 2023. Alongside his studies George has taken up an interest in Breaking and acrobatics and has started to push some focus into teaching is own developing practice.

He has joined up previously with NoSleep for the re-mastering of Mighty Nighty for ‘Hops and Bops’ and is looking forward to collaborating with the company moving forward.

Jules Young

Co-Artistic Director/

Jules Young is a multi-disciplinary performer and creator, specialising in dance theatre. He started dancing in South Wales with Dance Blast, Abergavenny and National Dance Company Wales Associates, he has performed in self-choreographed works at Green Man festival in the years between 2015-2019 and most recently in 2022. He graduated from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2022 with a first-class degree and is now a company member of the post-graduate company VERVE. He has also performed his solo work at Flock Fest 22 and Durham Fringe. As well as dance Jules has extensive experience as a lighting designer/technician for CULTVR and Lost Dog Dance, and as an actor, director and pianist. He has performed outdoor works by Kitsch ‘n’ sync, Chloe Loftus dance and Toussaint To Move.

Chasmine Faye-Tan

Chasmine Fay (she/her) is a Norwegian Dance artist. 

She started her training at the age of 3 and then fell in love with dance after that. In addition to taking dance classes, she also competed on a national level in gymnastics where she still continued to use her skills with the art form. 

After graduating from Trøndertun Folkehøgskole, she moved to Leeds in 2019 and graduated with a BA (Hons) and MA in Contemporary Dance from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. 

She has worked for choreographers and other dance artists including Amaury Lebrun, Thick&Tight, Eleanor Sikorski, Marco Di Nardo, Magnus Westwell, Jesus Rubio Gamo, Night People, Tim Casson and Gianluca Vincentini

Dylan Davies

Dylan began his training with BoysDancing projects and has trained on the DanceXchange CADT programme and 2 Faced Dance youth. Dylan has performed in outdoor works including; Cubes with 2Faced dance at IDFB 2016 and Mesmerist with Northern Rascals for the Leeds Light Night Parade in 1019. Since the pandemic, Dylan has taken an interest in screendance where one of his most recent works was screened at Smithfields during the commonwealth games 2022 and has also training in breaking to further versatility in the body. Dylan graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance with a first-class BA Hons in Contemporary Dance 2022, and a Post Graduate Diploma in the Professional Placement Scheme with Motionhouse. Dylan is now a Motionhouse dance circus dancer touring company repetoire UK and internationally.

Jacob Edwards

Jacob Edwards is a movement & music artist currently based in Leeds with a great deal of interest in work that is in conversation with social politics and is influenced by current issues. Jacob’s movement practice is based in exploring different pathways whilst disciplining the connection of the mind and body. Since graduating the Northern School of Contemporary Dance he has toured outdoor dance & theatre with Donald Edwards and No Sleep Dance Theatre, as well stunt work for an upcoming Netflix film production. Jacob joined the company performing to perform Mighty Nighty at Green Man Festival 2022.

Cato Kendall Muniesa

Cato is a professional freelance dance artist. He started his professional training with the Balletboyz dancers course, and recently graduated with first class honours from Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Incorporating his personal training in breaking and acrobatic flow he has developed a holistic movement practice, with particular interest in ground based movement and freestyle dance performance. With previous experience in theatrical performance, starring as Claudio from ‘Much Ado About Nothing’  in the Saskatchewan Shakespeare festival in Canada, he combines these skills to present a variety of disciplines. Previous work experience include Sam Amos of TrashDollys, R&D with Corinne Bailey-Rae for Leeds 2023 year of culture and working professionally with NoSleep and Circus of Truths at Green Man festival 2022. He is also a current member of Karma Dance CIC.
